A building can stand the test of time with the correct maintenance. A Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is a way of keeping future maintenance costs in check allowing the property owner and managers to assess and budget for likely, future maintenance costs.

Residential or Commercial properties benefit from Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys with the party responsible for repairs and maintenance possessing a detailed plan, therefore limiting nasty surprises in unexpected costs and reducing reactive maintenance.

It is our aim to produce feasible solutions to your maintenance issues in order to maintain and enhance the property assets

We will help you identify cost strategies to maintain your building assets, plant, equipment and facilities. These include detecting potential incidents and failures before they happen – and before the repairs spiral out of control.

A PPM report will include projected maintenance costs over a period of time (usually 10-20 years) along with a photographic schedule to ascertain make up and condition of a building’s fabric.

PPM surveys can include the following aspects:

  • External & Internal Building Fabric

  • Grounds & Gardens

  • Outbuildings

  • Boundaries & Fencing

  • Access & Other Associated Costs

We use a small aerial drone to inspect roof coverings and upper levels of buildings. Our newest recruit ‘The Drone’ comes in handy whilst performing Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys and avoids costly access methods such as cherry pickers and scaffolding.
